Update terkini

Got to IPK, Jalan Hang Tuah ( opposite Pudu Jail ) a little after 3pm.

There was already a small crowd of supporters outside, along with a very visible presence of police.

Was informed by some from the media that Wan Azizah and other family members had been allowed to see Anwar earlier and had since left. MPs who were there earlier had also left.

Police had refused the presence of two lawyers whilst Anwar’s statement was being taken. Sankaran Nair left, leaving Sivarasa with Anwar.

Spoke to some of the supporters outside. Some were saying that if Anwar was not released, there would be demonstrations.

This troubled me.

I approached Chegubard who was also waiting outside IPK.

This is what Chegubard said.

“People, please be cool”.
